Our Club Meetings
are held at Noon on the first and third Tuesday of the month at the
Park Ave Restaurant
located at 10861 Beach Blvd.
Board
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday
of the month at 11:15 am. These meetings are held at Park Ave Restaurant just prior
to the Club Meeting
District Council Meetings
are held at 7:00 am on the 3rd Monday of each
month at Kiwanis Land in Garden Grove, 11435 Heil
Avenue.
Breakfast is $5.

would like to remind all of you that Stanton has great things going on
for kids, the family, and the business community. The Kiwanis Club of Stanton is

Stanton
Parks & Recreation has outstanding

The Boys & Girls Club of
Stanton
offers year-round activities.. They provide games, academic
support and supervised team sports. The Club also has a great Teen

SANTA'S SIREN EXPRESS
The
2008 Santa's Siren Express was a giant success. Santa and his elves visited
children throughout Stanton, bringing gifts, candy canes, and lots of ho-ho-ho.
This event would not be possible without the exceptional people who volunteer
each year, bringing their own brand of holiday cheer. Many thanks to all of you
and to our partners who contributed resources and financial support.
We hope to see all of our
volunteers, contributors, and partners again in 2009.

Happy Birthday Kiwanis!
Today marks 94 years of service for Kiwanis International.
January 25
- Kiwanis Club of Greater Stanton will be hosting a
Scrabble Tournament.
American Family Housing, a program supporting homeless families in our
community, will benefit from the proceeds.
Every
child should experience the joy of reading. Kiwanis members believe this, and
have long been dedicated to Kiwanis International’s Read Around the World
program.

EVER PANCAKE BREAKFAST

$3.50 per plate Held at the City of Stanton's
FREE
Spring Egg Hunt
in Stanton Park. The event will include face painting, candy walk,
photos with the Easter Bunny (bring your camera), Egg Hunt (bring a bag for your
child to collect eggs) and prizes. Egg Hunt starts at 10:00 a.m. SHARP. Stanton Park is located directly behind the
Stanton Civic
Center and Sheriff's Station. Special Thanks to McDonald's in Stanton for their
assistance with our Best Ever Pancake Breakfast!
